TITAN BLUE

By International Selling Author M.B.FOX

A Hard Science Fiction Adventure.

A stand alone novel from a science fiction writer who cares about science.

About Titan Blue:

A group of strangers thrown together on a secret mission to rescue scientists on Titan turns into a desperate race to survive.

It soon emerges that the mission is anything but straightforward. Someone doesn’t want the rescue team to succeed. Newly formed friendships are tested. Each person has a reason for being on the mission but some are more altruistic than others. As truths become lies, who can anyone trust? Just how far do the lies go?

As evidence is found which could change the future of humankind forever, difficult decisions are made.

Do they save themselves or Earth?

Titan Blue is a different sort of science fiction novel. There are no laser guns. No time travel. No weird aliens. No unfathomable interstellar soap opera. Technology breaks. People argue. It is science fiction based (largely) on science fact with twists and turns along the way. There is cosmology alongside philosophy. History alongside futurology. There are friendships made and lost. All with a narrative that doesn’t take itself too seriously with humour throughout.

If you are bored with the same old science fiction then read Titan Blue.

An altogether different sort of Science Fiction book.

Currently one of the top independently published ebook bestsellers in hard science fiction on Amazon.

Current praise for Titan Blue on Amazon:

From A. L. MacDonald (Canada) :”This book is fantastic – it’s tech talk makes you feel smart just like The Martian, the twists are huge and augmenting with every chapter, like The Apollo Murders. This is a great, gripping read!

From Not My Real Name: (UK):”I read a lot. I read for a living. I liked it a lot.”

From Gary Brooks (UK): “Humour and science combined into a great sci-fi story!

From London Marion (United States of America): “From the start this narrative captured my attention and didn’t let go. I would highly recommend to anyone, regardless of their genre preference.

About M.B.Fox:

A former lawyer with a passion for cosmology, physics and space travel, it’s been said that my debut novel Titan Blue brings a refreshing change to the science fiction genre. I grew up with a love of space and science fiction. From early memories of Star Trek, Space 1999, Blakes 7 right up to modern day Cowboy Bebop, I just love the genre. My writing reflects this so you will find historical references ranging from early space flight to the Apollo missions through to modern popular culture with the odd philosophical discussion thrown in. All the names you come across will have a significance if you know your history. I try to be as accurate with my science as possible. So if it bothers you that Han Solo made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs (it’s a unit of distance not time) and almost all Hollywood movies with external views of a space ship have rockets blasting on full making a huge noise in a vacuum then you will be in good company. It may look great but it’s wrong. I don’t claim to always be completely accurate (gravity is always a pesky nuisance for science fiction writers for example) but if you know your velocity from your speed you will find a lot to like. I have always enjoyed novels with a sense of humour and Titan Blue doesn’t take itself too seriously. If you are a fan of the type of humour in The Martian and Hitch Hikers Guide you will probably find me somewhere in-between. Machines break, people argue, mistakes happen. Things are fixed with hammers and tape so think more Firefly than Star Trek.

After searching for the type of novel I love, I was struggling to find entertaining fiction which wasn’t space opera, zombies or the same old apocalyptic end of days.

Nobody was writing the kind of science fiction book I wanted to read. So I wrote it myself.

I hope you enjoy it.
